What is Intensive Therapy?
A typical session is 2 to 3 hours and is intended to focus on specific goals. Your overall therapy will be short-term and focused on short-term goals.
Nickole will use a combination of EMDR and Ego State therapy (Internal Family Systems and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) within a short-term therapy to decrease the negative affects of PTSD and childhood adversity.
HOw to start?
Call Nickole to set up an initial appointment and to discuss if you will be a good fit for Intensive Therapy. You may have a few specific goals you would like to work on, or have a complex history of trauma that you are ready to dive into. After the initial assessment, Nickole will set up a schedule that will be the best fit for your needs. Often intensives are scheduled on Fridays, but other days of the week are considered.
